IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ying
Ma
January 18, 1962 – November 18, 2025
Ying Ma , born January 18, 1962 in Benxi, China (本溪), passed away on November 18, 2025, called gently by God to heaven. He was 63 years old and spent the latter half of his life in Anshan, China (鞍山), a place where his generosity, optimism, and unwavering joy touched countless people.
Ying dedicated his entire life to education. He began as a teacher shaping young minds, and later became a respected leader responsible for guiding and mentoring other teachers. His students and colleagues can be found all over China—people he influenced, supported, and inspired. His leadership wasn't loud or boastful; it was steady, patient, and deeply human. He believed that helping someone grow was one of the greatest gifts a person could give.
He was born to a loving family and remained especially close to his mother and his two sisters throughout his life. Ying married his wife in a marriage that lasted 40 year s, full of partnership, laughter, and countless shared adventures. Their only son was born in the early days of their marriage, and the three of them built a lifetime of memories traveling across Europe, Asia, America, and many corners of the world. Family was his joy, and he carried that joy with him everywhere.
Ying loved people, and people loved him. He created warmth effortlessly. His optimism was a force—he lifted others with simple moments of happiness, his easy smile, and his natural ability to make any room feel lighter.
He was active and playful, especially known for his skill in basketball and his almost legendary talent in table tennis . Friends remember how he moved—fast hands, quick reflexes, unbeatable spirits. He also loved sharing a drink with those close to him, telling stories, visiting new places, and living life with a quiet but contagious enthusiasm.
Though he wasn't the biggest talker, he expressed his affection in everything he did—in actions, sacrifices, small everyday gestures. His love was steady, unmistakable, and constant.
Ying is survived by his wife, his son, his mother, and his two sisters, along with many lifelong friends who considered him family. His legacy is one of kindness, joy, and devotion—to his work, to his community, and above all to his loved ones.
He leaves behind a life defined by three words:
Joy. Devotion. Love.
