It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Young A An, of Laguna Niguel . Young A passed away peacefully in the early morning of Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the age of 45 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and friends who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Young A was born in Seoul, Korea and immigrated to the U.S. in her twenties. She had a passion for life and brought with her an impenetrable work ethic and a tenacity that was inspiring. Jeff couldn't resist this beautiful life force and snatched her up the moment he met her.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Young A. She loved listening to music with Jeff, taking her foodie daughter out to eat, watching her boys play soccer, and cracking jokes with her mom, sister, and brother. As a hairstylist, Young A loved to make people feel beautiful and transformed. She found happiness in everything and had a vibrant personality that was contagious to everyone she met.
She will be profoundly missed by her husband, Jeff; children, Chris (15), Brandon, (13), Olivia (10); sister, Young Ae; brother, Dongil; her parents, Kyung Ja and Ki Ha; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
A service will take place with the support of McCormick & Sons on July 9, 2022 at 3 p.m.
The family would like to thank UCI Medical Center and Vitas Hospice for their care of Young.
"Like a shooting star, flying across the room, so fast, so far, gone too soon."
