Joan Aguilera Age 72, died peacefully in her sleep on December 2, 2020 at her home in Dana Point, California.
Joan was born on April 1, 1948 in San Diego, California to Joseph and Leona Gunches, one of the youngest of eight children.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Lytle, step-son Anthony Aguilera and wife Alura, grand-children Kira and Kaia, brother John Gunches and his wife Merrily, numerous nieces and nephews and preceded in death by her husband Francisco (Fico) Aguilera and Stanley Lytle.
Joan was such an amazing person, an original, one-of-a-kind. She will be remembered for being a devoted wife to her husband Fico, and daughter Trish, whom she cherished and had an incredible bond with. Their love for one another was evident to all who knew them.She was an honorary mother to so many.Her love, guidance and compassion touched so many who called her "Other Mother".Joan also had an amazing ability to connect with people, she treated everyone with kindness, respect and made sure they felt special.
She will be deeply missed by all her friends, family and all who knew her.
