Our dear mother JoAnne Tarr, sadly passed away on June 22, 2023 at the age of 72. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was well loved in her community. She was funny and generous and kind, and the anchor of our family.

JoAnne was born on February 10, 1951 to Josephine and Anthony Manino in San Antonio, Texas, but was raised in Long Beach, CA.

From living on the same street in Long Beach, JoAnne met and married Craig Schumacher. JoAnne and Craig went on to have 2 children, Craig Mannino and Shelby Schumacher.

JoAnne later met Robert Tarr and married on July 27, 1996.

JoAnne is survived by her husband Robert, her two children Craig and Shelby, her two step children Rachael and Addison, and her 5 grandchildren Jade, Nikaela, Kira, Brenya, and Audra. And most recent member to the family, furbaby Sampson and furry granddaughter Lucy.

She absolutely loved being at the ocean. Her favorite pastime was gardens, visiting and growing her own. JoAnne loved all animals, especially dogs. She would always remember her dogs Goldie, Lady, Wesley, Arthur and cat Sophie.

Burial service will be held at Ascension Cemetery located at 24754 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest, CA 92630 on Friday, July 7th at 10:30am.
